Gecko Studio Gallery offers regular one and two day workshops with an emphasis on printmaking. Our workshops are held in a studio at the rear of the Gecko Studio Gallery premises with two etching presses. The studio looks out into a garden.
Gecko will be offering on-going courses in the near future: in etching, other printmaking techniques and drawing. These would be held once a week in 6-8 week blocks offering participants the chance to build a folio of work in one medium.
Workshops we have held so far…. Drypoint etching with Chine Colle, etching with aquatint, 2 colour etching, linocut and monoprint techniques.
